FUN FACTS

Plants and trees take in CO2 from the atmosphere to help growth. As CO2 levels increase from the burning of fossil fuels, volcano eruptions, ocean water temperature changes, and melting permafrost, plants and trees have been busy growing faster and larger. In fact this fun fact has lead to the re-greening of many non plant areas of the planet. NASA over the last decade has been measuring this effect from satellites in space taking pictures. article

So far, this re-greening has impacted an area twice the size of the continental United States with new plant and tree coverage. This will significantly slow down any climate changes as this new green area growth will absorb quite a lot of future CO2 emissions. This gives Nations more time to make and implement non CO2 energy changes.

PRECAUTIONS for supplements

  • If you have a candida infestation, do not take high dosages of CoQ10. The CoQ10 may feed the candida yeast cells in the intestinal tract and increase their growth rates. Very little CoQ10 will actually get absorbed into the body. ref
  • This theme of normal regular nutrient functions supporting negative consequences in disease states appears to get played out with many nutrients:  D-ribose, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Vitamin A, D, E & K, to name a few.
  • Nutrient format and dosages have to be considered. Optimum windows of dosages exist which have to be respected in order for nature to offer maximum health protection.
  • Red Yeast Rice for cholesterol lowering. RYR could contain monacolin K that has cholesterol lowering activity, similar to a weak statin. ref But, levels of this element in RYR products vary considerable from zero to a modest amount. Plus, the same brand can vary bottle to bottle. In 2011, RYR products were tested for a contaminant with an association to kidney failure in animals and genetic damage in both animals and human cells. This mycotoxin, Citrinin, was found in 4 of 11 products. Critinin is formed by a fungi and often found in stored foods such as grains. If proper methods are not carefully followed, it can form during the Red Yeast Rice production. Every batch of RYR has to be tested for safety. These facts ilicit the precautionary effect for RYR. It should not be used if safer methods are available.
